EZIO RIGHT HIDDEN BLADE (VENETIAN TALON)

The Venetian Talon was the second hidden blade I build in 3D. I tried to take everything I learned from the process in my Florentine Talon build and improve it in every way. I wanted to narrow down the walls, yet retain the same functionality. And I almost did; the model succeeded in driving the amount of required materials down, but unfortunately I made the blade locks too thin and one of them snapped on the installation. While the blade still works, it could be fixed a bit more.

Like my other hidden blades I built this one in Blender and printed through Shapeways, but it had a completely different look. The painting was a lot darker due to the concept art I found on it, but I am very happy with how it turned out. You can learn more about it in our vlog.
