As part of the update to my Ezio costume from Assassin’s Creed 2, I wanted to improve the right vambrace. So, after sourcing a few images, I made my best attempt at making the vambrace artwork in Adobe Illustrator. After I double checked that my Illustrator file was proportionate to my arm, I printed out my design and laminated it. I was then able to tape that directly to my leather piece and transfer the design. This was the first time I really got into carving leather, and I have to say it kinda hooked me on leather crafting – which has since become one of my many hobbies.
A vast majority of the information pertaining to the build can be seen in the video, which I would suggest you check out if you are interested.
