The Edward Kenway shoot was one of our favorites, and most memorable. We shot at the Indiana Dunes in, well, Indiana. To avoid stares and generally disrupting the public, we left at 4:00 am so we would arrive at 7:00 when the beach opened. Initially, the light was problematic, but as the sun started to rise we ended up getting some great shots. We were especially excited to composite the Jackdaw in the “ocean” behind Edward.
Check out our vlog for behind the scenes footage of the shoot. You can also head to the workshop to read about the creation of Edward’s gauntlets.
