FLORENTINE TALON – HIDDEN BLADE PROP KIT FOR SALE
Assassin’s Creed 2 still has to be my favorite of the series. The story was just so good. And one of the elements I loved is that Ezio gets his father’s hidden blade. Being a striking difference from Altair’s hidden blade, the design captured all of the function of the iconic hidden blade with the flair of the Renaissance. Up until it’s certain, I had always looked towards other sources for purchasing hidden blades. Whether the official replicas or 3D prints from fans such as Amanra. Unfortunately, I could find none that existed for this blade.
Now, I had done some 3D work back in school, so I did my best to remember what I learned. I downloaded Blender and crudely attempted to recreate this awesome hidden blade – with heavy, and I mean heavy, inspiration from Amanra’s gravity design.
This was a lot of hard work, but after a failed prototype, I was happy to have a successful gravity hidden blade that I could use for my Ezio costume. Of course there is always room for improvement, but I have to say this prop gave me a lot of inspiration and motivation to attempt making other 3D printed items.
